Result Image-Guided and Adaptive Radiation Therapy (HOC)

After completing the post-graduate module Image-Guided and Adaptive Radiation (HOC), you will be able to:

  • critically analyze the possibilities and limitations of applications for image fusion
  • apply the principles of IGART, including the influence of technical, physical, organizational and clinical factors
  • assess the value of recent developments of in-room IGART-systems
  • recognize the role and limitations of different imaging techniques
  • assess the value of recent developments in the field of 4D motion management

Certificate and accreditation

If you have followed the hands-on course as part of the IGART-module, you will receive a partial certificate of the Master's in Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology at Inholland Academy after successful completion of the module. The Image-Guided and Adaptive Radiation Therapy module is part of the Master's programme in Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, which is officially accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).

If you have followed solely the Hands-On course, you will receive a certificate of participation from Inholland Academy. The HOC is accredited by the Accreditation for Expertise-Enhancing Activities Paramedics (ADAP) for 40 points (2 ECTS).
