Preparing to apply

There are several things which you will need to consider before you are ready to submit your application:

Steps to take

  1. Register on Studielink. If you live in the Netherlands, you can apply with your DigiD. If you live abroad, you can set up a Studielink account. We recommend non-EU students to start the application process before 1 May. The recommended deadline for Dutch and EU students is 1 August.
  2. Once you have applied, you will receive your student number and account details by email.
  3. Activate your Inholland-account as soon as possible to gain access to Selfservice and our intranet Iris. In Selfservice, you can upload your documents to finalise your enrolment. With Iris, you can keep track of your enrolment status and see what you need to do to complete your enrolment. You can also find information about the start of your degree programme here.
  4. We invite you to the Study Check. This checks ensures that you're choosing the right programme.
  5. Pay your tuition fees by issuing a payment authorisation in Studielink.
  6. Keep an eye on your application status to see whether there are any actions you need to take. You are officially enrolled for the February intake when you meet all entry requirements by 31 January. The deadline for the September intake is 31 August. Once you’ve completed your enrolment, you can download your proof of enrolment and your student ID card will become available in the MijnInholland app.

Enrolment during the academic year

It is possible that for specific reasons you could not enrol by 1 September and you do not want to wait until the next regular possibility. Enrolment during the academic year is possible in a number of cases. See the procedure on the backside of the permission form.
