The aim of this research is to explore what can be borrowed from arts education and combined with the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) to contribute tools to mainstream higher professional education, in order to prepare young professionals to navigate the climate crisis. This was framed within the context of transition education, environmental sustainability, embodied and arts-based education and the IDGs, with an exploration into the interior dimensions of sustainability. The ultimate aim is to give practical advice to fellow educators. The research focuses on developing self-awareness and creative courage from the IDG framework of inner capacities, using arts-based tools.
